Internal Audit
The Internal Audit Unit is responsible for providing independent consulting designed to add value and improve the Company’s operational performance. In addition, the Internal Audit Unit evaluates the effectiveness of the implementation of the internal control system and risk management in all of the Company’s work units.
The Company has prepared the Internal Audit Unit Charter in accordance with the Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 56/POJK.04/2015 on the Establishment and Guidelines for the Preparation of the Internal Audit Unit Charter.
The Internal Audit Unit’s duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Preparing the annual audit plan and seeking approval from the President Director.
- Evaluating the implementation of internal control and risk management system in accordance with the Company’s policies.
- Supervising and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness in finance, accounting, operations, human resources, marketing, technology, and other activities.
- Providing corrective opinions and objective information regarding audited activities at all levels of management.
- Preparing audit results report and submitting it to the President Director and the Board of Commissioners.
- Supervising, reviewing, and reporting the implementation of follow-up improvements that have been carried out.
- Implementing a program to assess the quality of the internal audit activities.
- Performing special audits if required
The Internal Audit Unit is currently headed by Bernard Silaen.
